Position
Experienced Cable Technician – 4Wall Blackburn, 4‑month fixed‑term contract (February to end of June).
Responsibilities
- Maintain cable department equipment to the highest standards by inspecting, testing and repairing as necessary.
- Prepare cables as per job requirements in a timely fashion.
- Check in and check out equipment according to procedures.
- Organise all cables, connectors and consumables according to 4Wall working policy.
- Conduct periodic stock takes.
- Work as part of a wider team to help deliver exceptional service to clients.
- Assist with loading and unloading of vans and trucks.
Qualifications
- No previous experience required; interest in cables, methodical approach, good attitude and common sense.
- Ability to carry out frequent manual handling tasks and good visual abilities.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Problem‑solving / troubleshooting and repair ability.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness and flexibility to facilitate overtime, including early mornings, late evenings and some weekend working.

Full time.
