FRAME PROJECT MANAGER Manchester | Up to £90,000 | Start Date: 1st November We are currently recruiting for an experienced Frame Project Manager to join a major construction project in Manchester, overseeing the delivery of a large-scale structural frame package. This is a key project leadership role for someone who is commercially strong, technically sharp and completely on top of the detail. You’ll need to understand the frame inside out, know the sequencing, stay ahead of variations and be confident managing multiple moving parts on a live site. THE ROLE You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the structural frame, working closely with the commercial and site teams to ensure the project stays on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. The project involves flying tables and two tower cranes, so a strong understanding of sequencing, logistics and crane coordination is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead the delivery of the structural frame package from start through to completion. * Manage sequencing and programme across the frame. * Coordinate flying tables, two-crane operations and site logistics. * Work closely with the commercial team to identify, manage and maximise variations and change. * Ensure all variations, additional works and scope changes are identified and captured. * Keep on top of project costs and commercial performance. * Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site teams and consultants. * Monitor progress against programme and take action where required. * Manage technical queries, design coordination and construction issues. * Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality. * Attend progress meetings and provide clear project updates. * Identify potential problems before they become programme or commercial issues. * Drive the project forward and ensure key milestones are achieved. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Proven experience as a Project Manager on structural frame projects. * Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify variations, change and commercial opportunities. * Excellent understanding of frame sequencing and construction methodology. * Experience with flying tables. * Experience coordinating projects involving two tower cranes. * Strong programme management skills. * Excellent subcontractor and stakeholder management. * Strong understanding of construction drawings, programmes and specifications. * Excellent communication and leadership skills. * A proactive approach and the ability to stay several steps ahead of the project. THE PERSON This isn't a role for someone who simply manages what's directly in front of them. We're looking for a smart, commercially minded and switched-on Project Manager who understands how the frame needs to be sequenced, where the risks are and where the commercial opportunities sit. You need to be the person who knows what's happening now, what's happening next and what could go wrong before it happens. ROLE DETAILS Location: Manchester Start Date: 1st November Salary: Up to £90,000 Project: Major Structural Frame Key Experience: Flying Tables | Two Tower Cranes | Commercial Awareness | Frame Sequencing If you're an experienced Frame Project Manager looking for your next major Manchester project and you're confident taking ownership of both the technical and commercial side of the frame, we'd like to hear from you
