About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-rise commercial construction projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover. This role is responsible for overseeing project execution, managing subcontractors and consultants, controlling budgets and schedules, and ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience delivering large-scale commercial or mixed-use high-rise developments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage high-rise commercial construction projects end-to-end
- Develop and control project programmes, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
- Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and site teams
- Manage procurement, contracts, and subcontractor performance
- Monitor construction progress and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Conduct site inspections and manage progress reporting
- Resolve design, coordination, and construction issues promptly
- Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
- Ensure successful project handover and close-out documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience managing high-rise commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing for multi-storey developments
- Experience managing budgets in large-scale commercial projects
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of contract administration
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience coordinating large multidisciplinary teams
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar preferred
