A newly formed role, whereby the Credit Controller is responsible for managing the credit and collections process to ensure timely payments and maintain healthy cash flow. This role involves assessing creditworthiness, negotiating payment terms, resolving disputes, and implementing recovery procedures. A successful Credit Controller protects the company's financial health while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Roles & responsibilities- Take ownership of the Sales Ledger and keep all accounts on track.
- Monitor debtor ledgers to ensure invoices are paid on time.
- Investigate and resolve late payment issues quickly and effectively.
- Upload invoices and manage payments through EDI portals.
- Build strong client relationships, handling queries and disputes with confidence.
- Collaborate with our sales and merchandising teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Apply smart credit control procedures to minimise overdue accounts and bad debt.
- At least 2 years' experience in credit control.
- Proven ability to resolve queries and communicate clearly with clients at all levels.
- Resilient in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-Starter.
