We're looking for a dynamic, commercially driven Wholesale Merchandiser to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of brands and strengthen relationships with our wholesale partners. Reporting into the Head of Merchandising, this role will work in close partnership with the Head of Sales and alongside the Account Manager, while managing the Wholesale MAA.
You will oversee the end-to-end wholesale logistics process — from order management to delivery — while driving operational efficiency, supporting sales strategy, and contributing to budget and forecast planning. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Account Management & Commercial Planning- Collaborate with the Head of Wholesale on strategy, forecasting, and sales meeting packs.
- Manage the wholesale sections of the range plan tool and ensure data accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners, supporting trading and stock management.
- Identify sales opportunities, monitor stock performance, and ensure timely rebuys and replenishment.
- Partner with the Account Manager to onboard new partners and align on trading priorities.
- Manage the Wholesale MAA, ensuring all orders are accurately raised and delivered on time.
- Oversee all logistics and shipment bookings ensuring partners' documentation and requirements are met.
- Communicate proactively with production merchandisers and the MAA on delays, solutions, and delivery timelines.
- Attend CP meetings as needed, ensuring they are solution- and time-focused.
- Provide clear intake summaries and risk resolutions to the Head of Merchandising (HoM) and Head of Wholesale (HoW).
- Book Turkey shipments for Web & Wholesale into the Warehouse/or direct to partners; coordinate China partner bookings as needed.
- Create and send stock expect reports for shipments (& train the MAA to do so).
- Ensure suppliers meet wholesale packaging and shipping requirements.
- Support and improve efficiency across booking and delivery processes.
- Report and present weekly trade for wholesale partners.
- Review best and worst sellers with the HoW and Account Manager to maximise sales opportunities.
- Wholesale partner shop-in-shop product and option planning.
- Support clearance of non-moving e-commerce stock through wholesale channels.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Partner with HoM and HoW on wholesale budget planning and performance analysis.
- Manage the wholesale warehouse relationship, ensuring smooth operations and timely shipments.
- Collaborate with the CEO and HoM on shipment methods and cost efficiencies.
- Report key insights, trade performance, and recommendations in weekly trade meetings.
- Manage, coach, and develop the Wholesale MAA, ensuring accuracy and growth.
- Lead or support key system and efficiency projects (e.g., onboarding Joor) to enhance team workflow.
- Contribute to wholesale strategy, lessons learned, and monthly performance packs.
- Foster strong collaboration between Sales, Merchandising, and Operations teams.
- Proven experience as a Wholesale Merchandiser within a fashion or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of logistics, freight, and shipment bookings.
- Commercially astute, with strong analytical and Excel skills.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Confident communicator, comfortable managing multiple stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving business.
