Non-Fault Updates Claims Handler
We’re looking for an experienced Non-Fault Updates Claims Handler to join our knowledgeable and customer-focused team at 4th Dimension Innovation in Egham, Surrey. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in claims handling, particularly within credit hire, non-fault claims, motor claims or the wider insurance industry. If you’re confident speaking with customers, comfortable working in a busy claims environment and understand the importance of accurate, timely updates, this could be the perfect next step.
You’ll play a key role in supporting customers through their claim journey, providing updates on non-fault motorcycle claims and credit hire matters, while ensuring service level agreements are met and customers receive a professional, supportive experience. The role profile highlights customer relations, inbound and outbound calls, non-fault motorcycle claims handling, SLAs, attention to detail and confident communication as core parts of the role.
Main Duties
- Manage customer relationships and provide clear, helpful claim updates.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional and confident manner.
- Provide accurate information relating to non-fault motorcycle claims and credit hire.
- Ensure claims are handled efficiently and in line with agreed SLAs.
- Use your insurance and claims knowledge to support customers and progress claims effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all claim information is updated correctly.
- Work closely with colleagues across the Non-Fault Updates team.
- Support continuous improvement across claims processes.
- Take ownership of your own performance, development and individual targets.
Key Skills
- Previous experience in a claims handling role is essential.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processes.
- Experience in credit hire, non-fault claims, motor claims or motorcycle claims is highly desirable.
- Understanding of ABI GTA and credit hire case law would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident telephone manner and strong customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and logical thinking.
- Able to manage customer expectations calmly and professionally.

The Essentials
