We are looking for an experienced Partner Director to join a growing technology business operating within the broker, intermediary, and wider financial services software market. This is a senior commercial relationship role focused on developing strategic partner relationships, growing third-party revenue, and identifying new opportunities across an established partner ecosystem.
The successful candidate will work closely with Product, Sales, and senior leadership teams to execute the partner strategy, align partner activity with the product roadmap, and deliver revenue growth across new and existing relationships.
As Partner Director, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and developing strong relationships with value-added partners. You will act as the primary point of contact for partner accounts, lead commercial discussions, manage escalations, and identify opportunities to increase revenue through strategic collaboration.
This role would suit someone with experience in SaaS, broker technology, intermediary platforms, financial services technology, partner ecosystems, or value-added services.
Key Responsibilities- Executing the partner strategy and delivering partner revenue targets across new and existing business.
- Working closely with Product and senior leadership teams to provide feedback on partner strategy, market needs, and commercial opportunities.
- Co-developing and managing partner account plans.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with value-added partners.
- Acting as the main point of contact for partners and the escalation point for partner-related issues.
- Monitoring, reporting, and forecasting third-party revenue.
- Identifying new partner opportunities through proactive networking, marketing, and market engagement.
- Leading commercial negotiations, including medium to large-scale agreements.
- Presenting partner performance, opportunities, and updates to senior stakeholders, including board-level audiences.
- Strong experience within a broker, intermediary, value-added partner, SaaS, software, or technology platform environment.
- Strong knowledge of personal lines and commercial lines markets.
- Understanding of the intermediary and broker market.
- Knowledge of software houses as a distribution channel.
- Experience working with value-added partner products and services.
- Broad awareness of regulatory matters within a financial services environment.
- Experience managing commercial negotiations, ideally including deals of £250k+.
- Background in relationship management, partner management, sales management, strategic account management, or commercial partnerships.
- Commercially driven, self-motivated, and target-focused.
- Confident, professional, and credible with senior stakeholders.
- Strong in sales, communication, and relationship management.
- Able to manage complex partner relationships and resolve issues effectively.
- Organised, disciplined, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable interpreting and presenting data, statistics, and revenue performance.
- Proactive in seeking new opportunities through networking and market engagement.
- Adaptable, resilient, and able to work under pressure.
- Confident presenting at all levels, including board level.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Degree or relevant professional qualification advantageous.
- Full valid driving licence or ability to travel as required.
