Infrastructure Engineer – Camberley

Up to £40,000 + Car OR £6,000 Car Allowance | Growing International Business | Flexible Hours

My client are an expanding organisation that has expanded rapidly and they’re now looking to grow their Infrastructure team. You’ll join a supportive environment where you can take ownership of your projects without micromanagement and play a key role in modernising IT systems as the business continues to scale.

💼 The Role

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll support a user base and ensure the reliability and performance of critical infrastructure. Most systems are hosted from Camberley, and while the role is primarily office-based, occasional travel to other UK sites is required.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing and delivering infrastructure projects
• Supporting and maintaining on-premise servers and networking
• Responding to escalated infrastructure issues and coordinating fixes, including occasional site visits
• Working proactively to improve systems and processes

🔑 Technical Skills Needed

✅ Strong experience managing:

• Hyper-V (replication, configuration, troubleshooting)
• Dell servers
• Aruba switches
• Veritas NetBackup (or similar backup technologies)
• Fortinet firewalls (basic administration)

✅ Additional desirable skills:

• Cyber Essentials certification
• SentinelOne EDR
• Tanium or similar device management tools

🕒 Work Schedule & Benefits

• Flexible hours: Choose from 7–3:30, 8–4:30, or 9–5 (30 mins lunch)
• Early finish Fridays
• 25 days holiday (plus buy/sell up to 5 days)

• £38,000–£40,000 salary + £6,000 car allowance or company car
