Platform Engineering Manager We’re looking for an experienced Platform Engineering Manager to lead and develop an established platform engineering team and help shape the future direction of an internal cloud platform.
This is primarily a leadership role, suited to someone who understands what great platform engineering looks like and is passionate about creating an environment where engineers can perform at their best.
You’ll lead a team of experienced and mid-level engineers across software, infrastructure and cloud, helping them develop, creating a high-trust culture and giving the team clear direction and purpose.
Alongside the people leadership, you’ll have significant autonomy to shape the platform roadmap, improve operational maturity and determine how the platform should evolve as the organisation continues to grow.
The role is approximately 70% leadership / 30% technical, so you won’t be expected to spend your days writing Terraform or building cloud infrastructure.
However, you’ll need enough platform and public-cloud knowledge to challenge experienced engineers, understand architectural decisions and set a strong technical direction.
