The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.
We are looking for flexible Swimming Teachers to join our team.
Your primary role will be to plan and deliver swimming lessons covering a range of classes from beginner to advanced levels. You will engage with customers and ensure the highest quality, themed, fun, and safe Swim England lessons, maintaining excellent standards of customer service and providing every child the opportunity to learn to swim.
Additionally, you will support the Swimming Lesson Development Officer in operating our swimming lessons programme, ensuring the health and safety of participants at all times.
This role involves working during weekday evenings and on Saturdays.
Qualifications
- Swim England Level 2 qualification or equivalent (essential)
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award for Swim Teachers and Coaches (NRASTaC) (desirable but must be obtained if successful)
Knowledge of current safety requirements for managing swimming lessons is essential, along with:
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team
- A customer-focused approach, demonstrating commitment to quality and the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone, handling inquiries and issues as they arise
We value passion for swimming and a willingness to inspire pupils to reach their goals, as well as knowledge of current swim teaching practices and programming. You must be eligible to work in the UK and willing to attend training and team meetings to share best practices.
