The Role
Looking for an experienced Commercial/Industrial Electrician to carry out installation and maintenance works across Thames Water and industrial sites. You’ll be working on electrical control systems, pump maintenance, containment and installation works while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Duties
- Electrical installation works to BS7671
- Pump maintenance and installation works
- SWA cable installation and termination
- Cable tray, trunking and metal conduit works
- Testing, inspection and fault finding
- Installation and commissioning of low voltage control systems
- Instrumentation works including pressure, flow and level systems
- Completing technical reports and job documentation
- Following health & safety procedures and site regulations
Requirements
- Full UK drivers license
- Full electrical apprenticeship or qualifications
- ECS Gold Card / Gold CSCS Electrician
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience with industrial/commercial installations
- Experience with SWA, containment and conduit works
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- 2391 Testing & Inspection
- Water industry experience
- Experience with PLC work/instrumentation systems
