About the Role
4Site Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well established Main Contractor with a strong reputation and long standing client relationships. With decades of experience delivering projects of varying size and complexity, their Special Works Division is growing rapidly with secured frameworks in place with blue chip organisations. They are currently delivering refurbishment works within Thames Water frameworks, upgrading internal and external facilities across multiple sites. This offers long term, secure work with a consistent pipeline of projects.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee and manage operations across multiple sites. This is a hands on role suited to someone with a carpentry or strong multi trade background who is comfortable working on the tools when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage site teams across multiple projects
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
- Enforce health and safety procedures and site compliance
- Coordinate and schedule works effectively
- Carry out quality checks and ensure adherence to specifications
- Maintain accurate site records including progress, materials and incidents
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
- Resolve site issues efficiently
- Support and develop operatives on site
- Work on the tools when required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory role within construction
- Carpentry or strong multi trade background
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Competent with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Full UK driving licence
- Own basic tool kit
