Site Manager – Large-Scale Fit-Out Project Location: Canary Wharf, London Project Value: £15m Duration: February to November 2025 Employment Terms: PAYE or Contract About the Project: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the complete CAT B fit-out in Canary Wharf. This high-profile project requires a skilled professional to lead day-to-day site activities and ensure smooth project delivery within the £15m budget. Ideal Candidate: Experience: 10+ years in large fit-out/construction projects, preferably with a trade background. Client-Facing: Confidently engage with building management, client representatives, and staff on operational matters. Independent Decision-Maker: Capable of making forward-thinking decisions autonomously. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office and e-permit systems. Strong Communicator: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Team Player: Actively participate in subcontractor meetings and collaborate effectively. Task Management: Skilled in programming, managing, and sequencing tasks with other trades. Adaptable: Comfortable with change and managing stress effectively. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring smooth operations. Produce and issue RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) and approve subcontractor RAMS. Oversee all Health & Safety matters on-site. Implement the 1breadcrumb platform (training provided) for inductions, toolbox talks, and reporting. Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to manage deliveries, collections, and waste plans. Organise labour, materials, and subcontractor management. Attend project meetings, including H&S, subcontractor, and lookahead meetings. Conduct quality control checks, walkarounds, and snagging. Manage variation controls, RFI schedules, progress trackers, and procurement trackers. Oversee project sign-offs and ensure close-out documentation, including snagging, is completed.
