A well-established commercial fit out contractor is looking to appoint a Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of office and retail fit out projects across Greater London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in commercial interiors who is ready to step up or further develop their project management career.
The Role:
You will assist the Senior Project Manager in managing the delivery of CAT A and CAT B commercial fit out projects. Projects range in value from £500,000 to £5 million and typically last between 3 to 9 months. You will work closely with site teams, clients and consultants, and gradually take on more responsibility across programming, cost control and client liaison.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the management of commercial office and retail fit out projects
Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and clients
Monitoring project programmes (MS Project or similar)
Helping with budget tracking, variations and commercial reporting
Ensuring quality, health and safety and compliance on site
Learning and developing under experienced senior managers
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a site or project support role within commercial fit out
Background: Either trade-qualified or educated in construction/project management
Skills: Good communication skills, basic programming knowledge, organised and commercially aware
Tickets: CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid desirable but not essential
