Role Overview:
4Site are seeking an experienced HVAC Site Supervisor / Lead Engineer to deliver HVAC/AC works on high-end residential projects across London. The role involves supervising installation activities, maintaining exceptional quality standards, and ensuring works are completed safely, compliantly and to the high expectations of our clients' standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate HVAC installation works within high-end residential properties
- Oversee installation of ductwork, pipework, ventilation systems and split AC units
- Ensure all works meet project specifications, drawings and premium finish standards
- Support commissioning activities and assist with system testing and handover
- Manage site health & safety in line with RAMS and site-specific requirements
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics and builders work openings
- Coordinate closely with main contractors, designers and other specialist trades
- Maintain accurate site paperwork including progress reports, toolbox talks and snagging
- Drive quality control, resolve defects and manage snag-free delivery
Required Qualifications & Certifications:
- F-Gas Category 1 (essential for refrigerant systems / split AC units)
- SSSTS β Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme
- JIB Card β Gold or relevant skilled card
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in HVAC, Building Services Engineering, Ventilation, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work
Technical & Compliance Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of HVAC installation standards and commissioning principles
- Experience producing and working to RAMS
- Familiarity with permit-to-work systems
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and layouts
- Experience managing site documentation and coordination activities
Experience & Personal Attributes:
- Proven experience within high-end residential projects
- Strong attention to detail and quality-driven mindset
- Professional approach when working in occupied or client-facing environments
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple work areas and maintain programme
