Company Overview:
Our client is a leading construction and fit out contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality commercial projects across London and the South East. They have recently completed the shell and core of a new-build, multi-purpose commercial building in West London and are now entering the final phase of the fit out.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Finishing Manager to oversee and manage the internal fit out works, ensuring a high-quality finish and timely delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role during this final stage of the project and will be responsible for coordinating trades, managing snagging and driving quality and progress on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day site activities related to internal finishes and fit out.
- Manage sub-contractors to ensure high standards of workmanship and adherence to programme.
- Ensure CAT A and CAT B fit out works are completed to specification.
- Conduct snagging and de-snagging to meet handover standards.
- Liaise with site and project management teams to report on progress and resolve issues.
- Enforce health & safety standards across the site.
- Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with building regulations and project specifications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finishing Manager on commercial fit out projects.
- Strong knowledge of CAT A and CAT B fit outs.
- Ability to manage multiple trades and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications are essential.
Rate: £250 - £280 per day (CIS), depending on experience.
