The Opportunity
4Site are working with a family run high-end resi main contractor looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee projects across London.Projects typically range from £2m to £8m and often involve significant structural elements.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Senior Site Manager with strong construction knowledge, ideally from a trade background, who can take ownership of site operations and drive projects through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations and managing site teams.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site resources.
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
- Managing and monitoring project programmes and reporting progress to senior management.
- Overseeing structural works and coordinating multiple trades.
- Managing site documentation, RAMS, toolbox talks and site inspections.
- Identifying and resolving site issues to maintain programme.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or an experienced Site Manager ready to step up.
- Strong construction background, ideally with experience delivering projects between £2m and £8m.
- Experience overseeing structural elements and associated construction works.
- Ideally from a trade background.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
- Strong subcontractor management and organisational skills.
- Ability to drive programmes and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
