Job Title: Aftercare Carpenter
Location: Primarily London (South West, West & Central)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 8:00 AM β 5:00 PM (Paid for 8 hours)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team for a permanent position. You will be working in finished properties performing 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, joinery, and other general carpentry tasks, with a strong focus on high-end finishing. As part of a collaborative team, you\\\βll also contribute to a variety of projects, including occasional minor decorating and making good tasks, ensuring that all work is done to the highest standards.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be well-presented, and be comfortable working in finished homes. This is a client-facing role, so excellent communication skills and professionalism are key.
Key Responsibilities
- 1st and 2nd fix carpentry and joinery
- High-end finishes, including decorating and sanding
- Collaborate with the team on a variety of tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Requirements
- Full UK driving license (over 25 due to insurance requirements)
- NVQ qualifications (preferred)
- Own tools (larger tools provided)
- Previous carpentry experience (1st and 2nd fix, joinery)
- Basic knowledge of other trades is an advantage
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Well-presented and client-facing
- Comfortable working in completed homes
- Ability to work across London (mostly South West, West, and Central)
- Positive, proactive attitude and team player
