The company is an established, family-run safety consultancy based in North Essex. We focus on maintaining and improving the level of personal service our clients have come to expect, and as a result of this, we are experiencing significant growth. Therefore, we are seeking a candidate with enthusiasm and tenacity to join our dynamic team.
The role involves being a Health, Safety and Fire Advisor, focused on driving continuous improvement while maintaining and enhancing client service. Most of your time will be spent at client locations managing your own schedule, with the remainder spent in the office or at home completing relevant paperwork.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Undertake H&S and fire risk assessments on both commercial and residential property sites, including internal and external areas.
- Conduct site inspections and provide detailed reports of findings with recommendations for the client to implement.
- Assist clients with the development of a H&S Management System.
- Ensure clients are compliant with current legislation using the relevant guides and standards applicable.
- Keep up to date with legislative requirements in regards to how they impact your role.
Qualifications and Experience preferred:
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health (or equivalent level 3 qualification).
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management (or equivalent level 3 qualification).
- Would consider ability to demonstrate suitable knowledge and/or experience in the sector for the right candidate.
