We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Compliance Officer to join our team. This is a key position responsible for ensuring our management systems, policies, and processes remain compliant, effective, and continuously improving. You will work closely with senior management, support staff across the business, and engage with external compliance bodies to uphold high standards and drive best practice.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conduct and support internal audits across the business
- Maintain and improve the company’s audit programme
- Review Building Safety Case Reports for accuracy and completeness
- Identify compliance gaps and coordinate corrective actions
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance requirements
- Design and develop new and existing policies and processes
- Maintain regulatory compliance and accreditations
- Assist with external audits, tenders, and accreditation processes
- Analyse performance data and report to senior management
About you:
- Experience working with ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001 preferred)
- Experience in compliance, internal auditing, or management systems
- Auditing qualification desirable, or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience designing and developing policies and processes
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Confident communicator, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
