We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Development Executive to help drive the growth of our expanding service portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building client relationships, progressing commercial opportunities and working collaboratively across teams.
You'll play a key role in helping clients understand our specialist services, guiding them through the decision‑making process and supporting the conversion of quotations into instructed work.
Rather than a traditional sales role, this position takes a consultative approach—focusing on understanding client needs, providing clear information and ensuring opportunities are progressed efficiently.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop a strong understanding of our strategic and emerging service lines and the value they deliver to clients.
- Build relationships with new and existing clients, helping them understand our services and guiding them through the next steps.
- Proactively follow up quoted opportunities, moving them towards instruction, deferral or closure.
- Keep CRM records up to date, including opportunity status, client feedback and next actions.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional services to existing and dormant clients.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure services are accurately scoped and delivered consistently.
- Respond to client enquiries, escalating technical questions where appropriate.
- Attend client meetings and provide regular updates on pipeline activity, conversion progress and client feedback.

- Experience in business development, account management or a similar commercial role.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A consultative, customer‑focused approach with strong commercial awareness.
