4Recruitment Services are seeking a compassionate and committed Family Support Worker to work for our client based in Worcester. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children, young people and families to build stability, resilience and brighter futures. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Work directly with families in their homes and communities
- Provide practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs
- Help parents develop skills and confidence
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
- Work in partnership with schools, social workers and other professionals
- Keep clear, accurate records and contribute to support plans
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
- Experience working with children, young people or families
- Strong communication and listening skills
- A calm, empathetic and non-judgemental approach
- Ability to manage challenging situations professionally
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A relevant qualification or willingness to work towards one
- Enhanced DBS check
