Pay Rates: £16.35 - £21.23 per hour

Information the Role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Application Support Officer to join a busy and innovative team supporting Social Care and Enterprise Applications within a large and complex organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong application support experience, excellent technical problem‑solving abilities, and knowledge of Social Care systems such as Liquidlogic and ContrOCC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, maintain, and develop Social Care and Enterprise Applications
  • Provide database maintenance and application support
  • Investigate and resolve technical and business issues within SLA targets
  • Work closely with stakeholders, service managers, and third‑party suppliers
  • Support system integrations and digital solutions
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation
  • Ensure secure application access and user support
  • Support application lifecycle management and service improvements
  • Work within Agile, ITIL, and Enterprise Architecture frameworks

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience supporting enterprise or social care applications
  • Knowledge of Liquidlogic, ContrOCC, or similar case management systems
  • Strong database maintenance and support experience
  • Experience working in large and complex environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
  • Experience working with Agile and ITIL methodologies

Desirable:

  • Local Government or Public Sector experience
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture tools such as iServer
  • TOGAF or Agile certifications
