We are seeking an experienced and proactive People Business Partner to provide expert HR support across the organisation. This is a key role within the People & OD function, acting as a trusted adviser to managers, supporting organisational priorities, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation, HR policy, and best practice. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across services, supporting operational and strategic HR delivery while contributing to organisational development, employee engagement, learning and development, and change management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Working and Stakeholder Engagement
- Deputise for the Service Manager – People & OD when required
- Represent at regional and national HR forums
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, employment law, policies, and procedures
- Manage a varied caseload including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, capability, TUPE, organisational change, and appeals
- Develop and deliver HR policies, training, and briefings
- Strategic HR and Organisational Development
- Support the delivery of strategic HR projects and organisational change programmes
- Lead on delegated HR and OD initiatives
