Role
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of expiry planning and preparation and deliver early activity for the expiry of the Schools PFI contract.
- Manage the Schools PFI contract to ensure it delivers and operates in a manner which ensures that the Council achieves service excellence, the outcomes it requires and value for money.
- Deliver a key role within the overreaching PFI Expiry Project including contributing to the expiry planning phase for the Streetlighting PFI through sharing of best practice and learning from the Schools PFI expiry process.
Essential Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in contract management, procurement or a commercial service delivery role.
- Demonstrable experience of managing complex projects.
- Knowledge of PFI contracts and their operation.
- Excellent communication, management and relationship skills.
- Strong understanding of FM operations, statutory compliance, and asset management.
- Proven ability to analyse contracts and translate clauses into expiry planning requirements.
