We are currently looking for a Caretaker. You will be working in Solihull. This role requires a full UK Driving license.
Monday – Friday
Shift Rota: 7:30am - 3pm and 11:30am - 7pm
Temp Contract - Ongoing
Pay rate - £13.05ph paye
Job Purpose
- To open & close various corporate buildings at designated times in line with the business needs of the Council and to be available for occasional access to buildings out of hours.
- Be able and willing to provide cover and support to the Facilities team at other corporate SMBC sites.
- To carry out routine Health & Safety inspections / compliance checks, ensuring all security systems and procedures are adhered to across the corporate estate. Escalate, report or complete any actions.
- To comply with Health & Safety legislation.
- To participate in out of hours emergency call out procedures and rota.
- To undertake general facilities and security duties.
