Join our team and help transform Procurement & Commercial Services into a high-performing, streamlined powerhouse. We re seeking professionals to support Procurement Operations and Payments, managing processes from sourcing to payment to meet the Clients objectives.
What You ll Do:
- Enhance Processes: Assist in establishing an effective Central Purchase Ordering and Central Buying Team.
- Drive Value: Work closely with service teams to deliver savings, ensure value for money, and optimize procurement processes.
- Deliver Results: Lead buying activities up to £50,000, including managing three-quote and mini-tender processes and working with regional and national frameworks.
- Market Expertise: Conduct supplier research, negotiate pricing and delivery schedules, and support the Category Management team to develop cost-effective supply chains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of Central Buying functions.
- Collaborate with Category Management to maximize value.
- Lead and manage procurement activities and supplier negotiations.
