Location: Westminster (SW1H)

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Pay: £320.00 per day paid weekly via umbrella

Duration: Maternity Cover – Possibility for extension beyond this

Duties

  • Drive business performance through people and culture strategies, by implementing P&C initiatives that enhance engagement, productivity, and retention within the business area.
  • Develop, build and test solutions that strengthen organisational effectiveness and address identified P&C gaps.
  • Develop and embed P&C solutions that support winning talent, operational excellence, business growth and customer retention.
  • Identify, assess, and implement strategies that reduce employment, compliance, and operational risks.
  • Lead organisational design, restructuring and workforce planning initiatives, ensuring successful implementation of people projects and embedding sustainable changes aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Provide guidance on complex or escalated cases, including policy interpretation, ER case management, TUPE, and Union engagement in line with relevant CoEs.
  • Deliver professional employee relations advice in line with policies, procedures, and employment law, that minimizes risk, fosters fairness, and supports business goals.
  • Actively participate in operational and P&C solution meetings to provide insights, anticipate issues, and enable informed leadership decisions.
  • Coach, mentor, and build the skills of the People & Culture team to deliver impactful results across the business.
