Our local authority client based in Morden are urgently seeking an experienced Parking Administrator.
- 2 days remote and 3 days in the office
- £17.54 an hour PAYE
MAIN PURPOSES
- To organise and undertake effectively and efficiently, administrative and technical support duties within the Department.
- To collect and maintain information relevant to departmental services.
- To undertake accurate, speedy and relevant studies in relation to the Department’s policies, performance and procedures.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
- To provide straightforward information and advice as required to members of the public, other officers within the Department and in other Departments.
- To compile manual and computerised financial, performance and other staffing statistics as required.
- To use office technology as appropriate including WP packages, spreadsheets and databases.
- To carry out administrative duties including compiling and monitoring records, photocopying, faxing, filing, relaying messages and distribution of documents.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND APTITUDES
- Knowledge or the ability to absorb an understanding of the Department’s operations and procedures, eg general administration and technical administration procedures.
- Ability to operate a computerised information system, eg keyboard skills, typing skills.
- Ability to prepare, compile and maintain records and statistics.
- Capable of giving accurate responses to correspondence.
- Ability to explain departmental procedures effectively at all levels both on the telephone and face to face situations.
