Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities across a range of building services systems, ensuring assets are maintained safely, effectively and in compliance with client and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in accordance with maintenance schedules.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns across various client sites.
- Undertake fault finding, repairs and minor remedial works on electrical and building services equipment.
- Complete all maintenance documentation accurately via the CAFM system and timesheet portal.
- Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practice.
- Liaise professionally with site contacts, customers and management teams.
- Escalate major defects or recommendations for further works where required.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
Essential Requirements
- City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in an electrical discipline (or equivalent).
- Previous experience within Facilities Management or Building Services Maintenance.
- Experience carrying out both reactive maintenance and PPM activities.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Good communication and customer-facing skills.
