We are currently looking for a Cleaning Supervisor. You will be working in the Manchester area. This is a mobile role so you will need a full UK driving license. Monday - Friday 08:00am - 16:00pm Temp Contract - Ongoing Pay rate - £15.84ph paye
Job Purpose
To be responsible for the supervising of cleaning staff and to ensure that cleaning standards are maintained within the division.
Main Duties
- To supervise cleaning staff, planning, allocating and controlling work as required, and ensuring staff adhere to schedules and work is completed to the agreed standard.
- To manage and maximise and promote good attendance; undertaking personnel duties in respect of pay variations, sickness reporting procedures, monitoring of timekeeping (through booking in/out procedures) including the first levels of the Standards of Performance and Attendance Procedures.
- To include but not be restricted to the implementation and review of Plans to Support Improved Attendance.
- To monitor budgets for materials used in the provision of the cleaning services ensuring that the correct dilution and quantities are used.
- To visit on a weekly basis all designated buildings within the area of responsibility, making regular contact with your cleaners and provide cover for leave sickness or vacancies for other Cleaning Supervisors and buildings as required.
