4Recruitment Services are seeking a Temporary Accommodation Officer for our client based in Maidenhead. Working within the Temporary Accommodation Team, the post holder will work closely with the Housing Options and Resettlement Teams to support households residing in temporary accommodation, ensuring that properties remain safe, suitable, and compliant for occupation. The role involves the allocation, letting, and day-to-day management of temporary accommodation provided to homeless households, including property and tenancy management, as well as the collection of accommodation charges.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Work closely with Housing Options and Resettlement Teams.
  • Support households living in temporary accommodation.
  • Ensure temporary accommodation is safe, suitable, and compliant.
  • Let and manage temporary accommodation properties.
  • Carry out property management and tenancy management duties.
  • Collect accommodation charges/rent payments.
  • Handle a busy caseload and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Liaise with tenants, contractors, landlords, and internal teams as required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • Must own a car and have business-use insurance.
  • Experience working in a busy housing, temporary accommodation, homelessness, or tenancy management environment.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience of property management, tenancy management, rent collection, or housing management.
