We are currently looking for a Repairs Officer. You will be working in Kings Cross. This role is full time office based, Monday - Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm on a temp contract - ongoing.
Pay rate: £21.13ph umbrella
Job Purpose:
- Assist with the progression and completion of day-to-day responsive repairs for our residents.
- Action these repairs with urgency to ensure things get fixed quickly and well.
- Be meticulous when reviewing and accepting quotes.
- Check if the costs from contractors are reasonable.
- Confirm that the repair work done matches what was supposed to be done before paying for it.
- Be proactive doing what you can to prevent these repairs from getting stuck, ensuring each repair is finished quickly and well.
- Keep both internal and external customers informed about what you’re doing and when it will get done.
- Answer questions whether online or in person ensuring that you record everything on Workwise.
- Ensure that our residents have a good experience with their repairs.
- Understand what customers and colleagues need for repairs and do your best to deliver that.
