Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities across a range of building services systems, ensuring assets are maintained safely, effectively and in compliance with client and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in accordance with maintenance schedules.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns across various client sites.
  • Undertake fault finding, repairs and minor remedial works on electrical and building services equipment.
  • Complete all maintenance documentation accurately via the CAFM system and timesheet portal.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practice.
  • Liaise professionally with site contacts, customers and management teams.
  • Escalate major defects or recommendations for further works where required.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment in a safe and professional manner.

Essential Requirements

  • City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in an electrical discipline (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience within Facilities Management or Building Services Maintenance.
  • Experience carrying out both reactive maintenance and PPM activities.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
  • Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills.
