An vacancy exists for an Information Governance Officer to work within the Corporate Information Governance Team. The post will play a key role within the team to ensure the Council’s compliance with the required standards for information governance, including relevant legislation and policy.

Technical knowledge and previous experience of work relating to Freedom of Information and Data Protection are essential, along with experience in the redaction of complex subject access requests. It is essential that the applicant can demonstrate that they are competent in all aspects of communications, have good data analytical skills, have a strong customer focus, and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Team working skills are also essential for this role.
