Pay Rates: £425 per day.

Information the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Registered Manager to lead a CQC-regulated Short Breaks Service supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. This is a key leadership role requiring a strong and visible manager who can ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for the management of a CQC-regulated service
  • Ensure compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and relevant legislation
  • Lead safeguarding, risk management, governance, and incident response processes
  • Manage and develop staff teams to deliver outstanding care and support
  • Maintain high standards of care, safety, and service quality
  • Oversee care planning, record keeping, audits, and performance monitoring
  • Manage service delivery in line with operational and budgetary requirements
  • Build effective relationships with families, professionals, and partner agencies
  • Support continuous service improvement and positive outcomes for service users

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience as a Registered Manager or in a comparable senior leadership role within adult social care
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, inspection frameworks, and compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Proven safeguarding, risk management, and governance experience
  • Strong leadership, staff management, and service delivery skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound operational decisions
  • Enhanced DBS required
  • Participation in an on-call rota may be required

Desirable

  • Experience of service improvement, stabilisation, or turnaround projects
  • Availability to start at short notice
