Job Description
We are currently looking for a Grounds Maintenance and Street Cleansing Manager. You will be working in the Wokingham area
Monday – Friday
09:00am – 17:00pm
Temp Contract – Ongoing
Day rate – £280.29 per day umbrella
Job Purpose
We are seeking a full time Team Manager to oversee the operational management of some of the public realm facilities and contracts, including Parks and open spaces, Street Cleansing and Cemeteries.
Main Duties
- Manage six highly experienced team members
- Ensure the Health and Safety of our parks and open spaces is maintained in conjunction with our contractors
- Provide expert advice to Councillors, senior manages and residents
- To undertake and progress existing projects in line with our Climate emergency Action Plan
- Keep updated with current legislation and government changes
- To help train and coach colleagues on the team including new colleagues and cross training within the team as well as attendance at relevant meetings.
