The Family Intervention and Support Service provides early help to the most vulnerable children, young people, and their families, aiming to prevent escalation to statutory social care services in Swindon. We are proud to be part of the national Supporting Families Agenda, delivering the right help at the right time.
As a Family Worker, you will play a vital role in helping vulnerable families achieve positive outcomes that can transform their life opportunities. Your work will involve:
Writing holistic family assessments.
Developing personalised plans with families.
Coordinating targeted support.
Reviewing progress with families and partner agencies through Team Around the Child meetings.
You will also contribute to the development of Community, Family, and Youth Hubs as part of Swindon Communities Together, working alongside flexible and motivated colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for children, young people, and families.
