Advanced Practitioner – Children With Disabilities

Pay: £41.50 per hour

We are seeking to recruit an experienced
Advanced Practitioner (Children With Disabilities)
to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families, while also providing leadership and guidance to developing practitioners.

About the Role

As the newly appointed Advanced Practitioner, you will:

• Take the lead on complex casework involving some of the most vulnerable children in our community and in our care.

• Support children with disabilities and their families, always maintaining a strong safeguarding focus.

• Provide high-quality, professional casework to a caseload aligned with your skills and experience.

• Mentor and support less experienced colleagues as they grow in their practice.

• Prepare high-quality written reports, including statements and care plans for care proceedings across the Family Proceedings, County, and High Courts.

• Work onsite a minimum of
  2 days per week
  (depending on team needs).

Requirements

We\’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

• Minimum 3 years\’ experience
  as a Children With Disabilities social worker.

• Ability to travel easily within Essex — candidates
  must live within the Essex borders
  .

• A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.

• Confidence working autonomously on complex cases while supporting others.
