Electrician - Social Housing

Ref: 0009 D521 / 1 Location: East London Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm Pay: £22.00-£25.00ph paid weekly via umbrella – No CIS/LTD Notes: Must hold full UK drivers license. Successful applicants will need to have a DBS check carried out Duties * Carrying out reactive repair work in our residents’ homes and communal areas. * Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with Electricity at Work Regulations and BS 7671 18th Edition * Testing and certifying work carried out in accordance with current IET Wiring Regulations. * Where necessary, ensure Health & Safety working practices which are essential to ensure the safety of both tenants and operatives, are always implemented. * Be responsible for safeguarding test instruments and other equipment issued. * Safeguard, maintain, replenish, and keep records of electrical materials issued for van stock. Qualifications & Experience * Experience of reactive repairs within a social housing/residential setting. * Have the skills to inspect, test, install, maintain and repair electrical installations. * Have the capability to complete electrical certification/reports for the type of work being undertaken. * Have excellent communication and customer service skills * City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 / 2330 Level 2 & 3, AM2 & NVQ level 3. * City & Guilds 2391 or 2392/2394 & 2395 (or to show competence in Inspection & Testing). * City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition. * A Full UK Driving License
