We are currently looking for an Electrical Improver. You will be working in Westminster Monday - Friday 7am-4pm / 8am-5pm / 10am-7pm.
Perm Contract Salary up to £35,000 per annum.
Job Purpose
- Assist with electrical maintenance, fault finding, and minor installation works.
- Maintain lighting systems, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems.
- Support the maintenance of mechanical plant including AHUs, FCUs, pumps, and motors.
- Undertake routine plant room inspections and ensure statutory compliance.
- Complete basic plumbing and general fabric maintenance tasks where required.
- Monitor and report building management system (BMS) alarms and plant performance.
- Accurately complete maintenance reports and job records using a CAFM system.
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in occupied commercial buildings.
- Work alongside senior engineers to develop technical knowledge and experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience City Guilds Level 2 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable/advantageous if not essential).
- Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
- Basic knowledge of electrical fault finding and maintenance.
