This is a critical interim leadership opportunity to lead the redesign and delivery of Adult Social Care Quality Assurance function during a significant period of transition. The Client is moving from an outsourced quality assurance model back to an in-house service and requires an experienced leader to establish a robust, visible and effective approach to quality oversight across the adult social care provider market.
The successful candidate will take ownership of:
- Reviewing and strengthening governance and oversight arrangements for quality assurance
- Leading the transition of the outsourced quality service back in-house, including workforce management implications and embedding a new operating structure
- Establishing a proactive and visible quality presence within the provider market, ensuring officers are equipped to undertake quality visits and respond effectively to emerging concerns
- Designing and embedding a refreshed quality assurance framework, including provider self-assessment processes and supporting technology solutions
- Providing clear oversight of risk across the care market, including escalation into safeguarding processes where appropriate
- Leading recruitment activity and capability development within the newly structured quality function
Candidates will bring:
- Significant experience within adult social care quality assurance and provider oversight
- A strong track record of designing and implementing quality assurance frameworks
- Demonstrable transformation experience, including service redesign and workforce transition
- The credibility and leadership capability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cultural change
- The ability to operate at pace across both strategic and operational priorities
