The predicted salary is between 78000 - 78000 € per year.

Location: Manchester (M2)

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Pay: £300 per day paid weekly via umbrella

Duration: Ongoing Contract

Duties:

  • To be the main point of contact on site for the client ensuring that the product being constructed is built to the required construction issue drawings and specification.
  • Ensuring at all times the build quality is to an exemplar standard through all critical stages of the build.
  • The Construction Management team is responsible for:
    • Providing advice for each business unit on construction activities for tender appraisals.
    • Giving buildability advice during RIBA stages 1 to 4.
    • Managing all elements of the construction during RIBA stage 5 and ensuring a safe defect-free handover to the relevant third party.
    • Ensuring the end-built product is compliant and of a quality build.
    • Managing all third-party involvement during construction.
    • Managing the supply chain and strategic partner relationships.

Person Specification:

  • Significant experience in the construction industry with an in-depth knowledge of sub and super structure for apartment construction and house building experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of build sequence.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local supply chain.
  • Experience of working in complex multi-dimensional projects in a large construction organisation.
  • Experience of managing risk, issues and dependencies within a complex programme.
  • Degree qualified in an appropriate subject and working towards or obtained chartered status in a construction related institution.
