Enfield – Cemetery Officer Location – EN1 3ES On going contract – 35 hours – £16ph To contribute to the development, promotion and delivery of the Cemeteries Service to a wide range of users and provide a high standard of cemeteries operational, administrative and technical support to a diverse and multicultural community across five cemeteries in the context of the Cemetery Strategy. To support the Senior Cemetery Officer in respect of the interments and grave re-use programme, memorials and memorial testing in line with statutory requirements, regulations, Council Policy and the cemetery records. The role is very customer focused service and he/she must be self-motivated and be able to use his/her own initiative and appropriately respond to issues, enquiries and complaints from a wide range of stakeholders with due empathy and sensitivity. The post holder must be able to drive and hold a clean driving licence. It is essential to have excellent administrative, organisational, interpersonal and ICT skills (using Access database systems, preferably BACAS and financial systems) including the ability to stay focused in a very demanding and sensitive service.
