About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, management and development of a children\'s home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
You will
- Lead, motivate and develop a skilled residential team.
- Deliver outstanding care that promotes positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Ensure full compliance with Children\'s Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards and Ofsted requirements.
- Create a nurturing, child-centred culture where children\'s voices, rights and aspirations are at the heart of everything.
- Work collaboratively with families, education, health professionals and partner agencies.
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management, quality assurance and continuous service improvement.
- Manage staffing, budgets and resources effectively.
- Drive excellent standards in education, health, wellbeing and independence planning for every child.
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of two years\' recent experience working within residential childcare.
- Significant experience managing and developing teams within a care setting.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve this within 18 months).
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
- Strong knowledge of Children\'s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, safeguarding legislation and residential childcare practice.
- Experience managing budgets, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication and partnership working skills.
- A commitment to creating positive outcomes and life-changing opportunities for children and young people.
- A current enhanced DBS registered on the update service.
- Right to Work in the UK- No restrictions
