These schools are committed to creating a nurturing, structured and supportive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential, both academically and socially. As a daily supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, social, emotional and mental health needs, and cognition and learning difficulties. Your responsibilities may include providing 1:1 and small-group support, assisting pupils to access the mainstream curriculum, supporting learning within SRB or SHIP units, implementing strategies set out in EHCPs, promoting positive behaviour, and helping pupils develop independence, communication skills and emotional regulation.
