Are you a passionate SEND Teacher looking for a rewarding permanent role where you can make a lasting difference to the lives of children and young people with additional needs? 4myschools is recruiting on behalf of a specialist school in East Hertfordshire for a dedicated SEND Teacher with QTS. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEND Teacher or a mainstream Primary or Secondary Teacher looking to transition into specialist education.

The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs and offers a highly supportive environment where teachers can build meaningful relationships and see the impact of their work every day. As a SEND Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.

You will work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists and external professionals to create an inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Pupils may present with a range of needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential

  • Have experience teaching children or young people within Primary, Secondary or SEND settings
  • Be passionate about inclusive education
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues

Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers looking to move into specialist education. Due to the location of the school, a full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential. You must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Check and have the right to work in the UK.
