We are currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants and specialist support staff for a Specialist school in Est Hertfordshire.
This is a permanent role providing you with a meaningful career within education.
You will be supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including complex needs, SLCN, personal care and sensory needs.
Your role may involve providing 1:1 or 2:1 support, helping pupils develop communication skills, emotional regulation and confidence, as well as supporting their access to learning.
You will work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs and external professionals to ensure pupils receive consistent and high-quality support.
We are looking for committed and resilient individuals who are confident in providing consistent, support within a specialist education setting and who are passionate about working with children and young people with individual needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children or young people with additional needs, or a background in care, SEN support, behaviour mentoring or mental health support.
You should be calm under pressure, able to build trust with pupils and capable of maintaining a consistent, supportive approach.
You should be comfortable working collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals, and be motivated by working in a role that can truly make a difference.
Due to the location of the school, full driving licence and access to a car is essential.
You will need a valid Enhanced, Child workforce DBS and be eligible to work in the UK.
