Our client is currently looking to recruit a Senior Network Architect to join their busy team for a 3 month initial contract.
Responsibilities
- Lead on the design, development and maintenance of customer environments with focus on connectivity both to and within customer sites.
- Work with client customers and suppliers to ensure correct network configuration for a multi-supplier integrated solution.
- Responsible for design, support and maintenance of network equipment at multiple client sites.
- Network configuration, maintenance, support and security.
- Creation and maintenance of detailed documentation for customer sites/projects.
- Hardware and firmware upgrades to networking infrastructure of customer sites.
- Managing third party connectivity requirements on behalf of our customers.
- Experience of setting up multi-vendor networks within a warehousing environment would be advantageous.
Qualifications
- Network design and implementation.
- Networking IPv4 / DHCP / DNS / Switches.
- Enterprise Firewall technologies.
- Enterprise WAN technologies.
- Enterprise Network Management and Monitoring.
- Understanding of packet capture technologies and tools.
- Cisco or Fortinet Networking Accreditation CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE.
Compensation
Day Rate: £450 per day Outside IR35.
