We are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to join a public sector organisation on an initial fixed term contract till the end of March 2028. This organisation is going through a period of organisational change and we are seeking a HR Manager who is at least CIPD Level 5 Qualified to lead a number of HR Services including payroll, learning and development and HR admin functions.
Your key role will include:
- Direct line management of a HRIS / Payroll Manager, Learning and Development Manager and HR Office who leads the HR Admin function
- Continuous Improvement across your services
- HR Governance
- Work closely with the Employee Relations Manager and offer support on complex cases
- Provide expert advice and guidance to your team
- Support with restructures and HR corporate programmes
The ideal candidate will be at least CIPD Level 5 Qualified with extensive experience in a senior HR role managing complex cases. You will have strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills as well as experience working with Trade Unions. You will also have experience across L&D, organisational change (TUPE, employment law, etc) as well as the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
This role will be 3 days from home and 2 days in the office which is in Ipswich. Salary: £53,460 plus fantastic public sector benefits.
